Last month, Sonia Steele from Koncious Kuisine in Cleveland won the Top Chef title at the Vegan Women Summit, a global competition held in New York City that acknowledges pioneers in the advancement of food innovation.
Steele was one of the three finalists and presented a vegan dinner that incorporated items from three summit sponsors, such as plant-based chicken from Tindle, Impossible beef from Impossible Foods, and ice cream from Wicked Kitchen.
The CEOs of these three companies served as judges.
